If you’re Canadian, you know that it can be cheaper to fly halfway around the world than it is to fly within your own country. Right now, you can ease the sting of a Canadian domestic flight by saving $50 when you book a flight over $500 with Flight Centre.
“Book a flight within Canada (travelling anytime!) and get $50 off per person when you each spend $500 or more. Don’t delay, this hot deal is only available until May 6.
*Conditions apply. Valid on all new roundtrip flight bookings within Canada traveling with Air Canada, WestJet and Porter Airlines with a minimum spend of $500 per person including taxes and fees, with total amount including the airfare only. Discount is not combinable with any other offers unless otherwise specified. For full terms and conditions please speak with a Flight Centre Travel Consultant or visit flightcentre.ca/sale.”
I had forgotten about this offer until I was helping a friend book a last-minute flight from Montreal to Victoria. I couldn’t find a sweet spot for him with loyalty points, seat sales, error fares, or routing, and he needed confirmed seats, stat. We called up Flight Centre with the preferred flight numbers we found on Google and booked his seats with this discount. He may still be paying more than I’d like, but $50 is nothing to sneeze at.
Bottom line: If you’re planning to travel within Canada soon, book your flights with Flight Centre before May 6 and at least save $50.
~Flight Centre did not pay me for this post (though they are certainly welcome to).
~Get more out of this deal by paying with a credit card that earns you rewards, like the Amex Gold’s 2x points on travel (etc). Check out my referral links if you don’t have one yet.
